 What goes on an invitation?

A wedding invitation is not merely a piece of paper inviting guests to celebrate a couple's special day, but rather serves as the first glimpse into the overall theme and tone of the event. As such, careful consideration should be given to its design and contents. A professional wedding invitation typically includes key details such as the names of the bride and groom, date, time, and venue for the ceremony and reception. It may also feature a personalized monogram or emblem that reflects the couple's unique style and preferences. Additionally, an invitation often entails additional inserts providing information about accommodations, directions, RSVP options, dress code suggestions, and gift registries. The wording and font are meticulously chosen to convey formality or informality appropriately. With attention to detail in every aspect from layout to language choices, a professional wedding invitation ultimately sets the stage for a memorable celebration that truly reflects the couple's personalities and desires.

When do you send out your invitations? 6-12 weeks prior to your wedding date, Giving your guest one month to respond. For example, your wedding is June 5th and you need to tell the venue how many are coming by May 15th, your rsvp card deadline should be on or around April 30th, which means your invitations should go out no later than March 1.
